Croeso i Dosbarth Oak!

Welcome back after a busy autumn term!  We hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and if you celebrated Christmas that it was full of fun and family time.

Dosbarth Oak will have some new boys and girls to join Nursery this spring term. We are all really looking forward to making some new friends.

We are delighted to welcome our new context for learning 'Innovation Generation'. Throughout this exciting spring term, as well as completing the baseline for new learners, we are looking at different adventures where we will have opportunities to explore and investigate and visit our local Church, St John's.  We will become design detectives and be experimenting, utilising and improving our creative skills.  We don't really know where our learning will take us yet.

What we do know is that we will all be working towards our great 'Play with Me' event scheduled for the summer term. In order for us to have the best opportunities, we are looking for some donations of the following:

junk modelling materials, such as small boxes and bottles

fancy dress costumes for our swap shop in readiness for World Book Day

ols CDs to enhance our Forest School sensory garden

4 pint milk carton, pre washed please

fabrics and materials to explore textures

sand paper and duck tape

bubble wrap

yoghurt pots and garden pots

seeds for planting

wooden spoons

old pots and pans and foil

We can't wait to explore all the ideas which the children will be at the heart of.  We also have many other celebrations, including Dydd Santes Dwywen, the Holi celebrations of the Festival of Colours, Mothers Day, our Eisteddfod, World Book Day and Easter at St John's.
