Welcome to Beech and Birch class

Our teachers are:

Mrs Capel (Beech) and Mrs Keaveney (Birch).

We hope you have enjoyed a restful Summer break. We are so excited to welcome back all of our pupils to Birch Class and Beech Class! Please find key information for the upcoming term below.

PE Kit 
We ask that you provide your child with clothing appropriate for their learning. Please provide your child with comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts/jogging bottoms (trainers are not yet necessary as outdoor PE begins later in the school year). PE takes place every Thursday in the hall. Your child's PE kit can be kept at school. 

Book Bags and Homework Books
Please return your child's book bag to school before Thursday 1st October so that their book can be swapped. Every child will also have a Homework Book which will be updated every week with activities to develop your child's learning at home. Book bags will need to be returned every Thursday in Reception so that their books can be swapped and homework can be assigned. 

Arth Stori
Reception are very lucky to have Bernie Bear in Birch and Seren Bear in Beech. Our class bears come home with one child from each class every week to visit their families. When Bernie or Seren come home with your child for the weekend, we ask that you take a photo of your child reading their favourite book and write in our Arth Stori class book what your child likes about the book. You may even wish to share what else you got up to with Bernie and Seren! Please return Bernie and Seren as soon as you can after their visit.
